The shed floor, elevated 2″ off the ground, features an 18mm oriented strand board on 50mm x 50mm runners. This provides a robust and steady foundation for construction.
The shed frame, made from fully pressure-treated 50mm x 50mm timber, is designed for stability. Wall battens, evenly placed every 2ft or less, anchor the wood to prevent twisting due to the timber cladding’s contraction and expansion. Corner braces are also included in the frame to prevent the structure from leaning.
