These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Ilkeston Sheds (https://ilkestonsheds.co.uk). By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Orders & Quotations
All quotations provided are valid for a limited time and may be subject to change.
Orders are only confirmed once a deposit has been received.
As many of our products are made to order, specifications must be agreed before production begins.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your order.
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of installation, once the work has been completed.
We reserve the right to delay installation or withhold completion if full payment is not received.
Cancellations & Refunds
Due to the bespoke nature of our buildings:
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced
- If you cancel before production begins, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion
Any cancellations must be made in writing.
Delivery & Installation
We will agree an installation date with you in advance.
While we aim to meet agreed timeframes, delays may occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Material availability
- Unforeseen circumstances
We will keep you informed of any changes.
Customer Responsibilities
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Ensure clear and safe access to the installation area
- Ensure the base is suitable, level, and ready prior to installation
- Obtain any necessary permissions (e.g. planning permission if required)
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or additional charges.
Product Information
All buildings are made to order and may vary slightly from images shown on our website.
Natural materials such as timber may have variations in colour, grain, and finish.
Warranty & Aftercare
We take pride in the quality of our work.
If you experience any issues, please contact us and we will assess the situation and advise on next steps.
Proper maintenance is required to ensure the longevity of your building.
Liability
We are not liable for:
- Damage caused by unsuitable bases or ground conditions
- Delays outside of our control
- General wear and tear or lack of maintenance
Our liability is limited to the value of the order.
Access & Installation Conditions
If installation cannot be completed due to restricted access or site issues not disclosed beforehand, additional charges may apply.
Changes to Orders
Any changes to your order must be agreed before production begins.
Once work has started, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
